How to Replace Your Air Check Valve #
- Step 1: Uninstall Coupling
- Remove blue Air Tubing from the Barbed Fitting on the Manifold’s Venturi
- Remove gray Coupling from Manifold’s Venturi
- Unthread the Barbed Fitting from Coupling.
- Important Note: Set Barbed Fitting Aside for Step 4.
- Step 2: Prep Venturi
- On the Manifold’s Venturi, cut the black barbed fitting off just before the threads using garden shears, tube cutters, etc.
- Step 3: Install Air Check Valve & Fitting
- Thread the new black Air Check Valve into the Manifold’s Venturi and thread the Barbed Fitting into the Air Check Valve.
- Important Note: Ensure the Air Check Valve arrow points to the Manifold and away from the Barbed Fitting.
- Thread the new black Air Check Valve into the Manifold’s Venturi and thread the Barbed Fitting into the Air Check Valve.
- Step 4: Unstall Old Air Check Valve
- Remove the old Air Check Valve and the short Air Tubing piece connecting it to the Cartridge Unit.
- Then, connect the long Air Tubing piece to the new Air Check Valve to the Cartridge Unit.
- Set air flow rate to the recommended ranges.
- CCW100: 5 – 7 LPM
- CCW50: 3 – 5 LPM
