Clear Comfort, a fast-growing cleantech company, headquartered in Louisville, Colorado, manufactures and sells AOP water treatment solutions for recreational, livestock farming, indoor agricultural, and cooling applications in the U.S., Canada, and other countries around the world.

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician eager to grow and assume broader responsibilities, augmenting our strong team. The ideal candidate will adhere to all safety standards and laboratory hygiene best practices while effectively contributing to our mission.

Responsibilities:

Laboratory Operations

  • Adhere to all safety standards and laboratory hygiene best practices.
  • Sample intake and documentation.
  • Expand our new LIMS (Salesforce based) implementation.
  • Follow prescribed SOPs, conduct various chemical, biological, and physical assays.
  • Write SOPs and maintain existing ones through continuous improvement.
  • Clean and maintain lab equipment, including recalibration of equipment.
  • Prepare reagents, standards, and test solutions as needed per SOP.
  • Prepare and supervise experiments for research and development applications.

Data Management

  • Data entry and analysis of raw and processed data.
  • Document results and generate laboratory reports.

Client and Team Support

  • Provide client communication and support.
  • Resolve day-to-day questions/problems from colleagues in the office and in the field regarding appropriate materials, methods, and procedures.
  • Review SOPs and contribute to laboratory continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the Clear Comfort team.

General Responsibilities

  • Maintain satisfactory attendance to ensure duties are performed without negatively impacting colleagues or delivery of service to clients.
  • Works well alone with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge in chemistry, biology, or a related field.
  • Experience in laboratory settings and equipment maintenance.
  • Proficiency in data entry and analysis.
  • LIMS and Salesforce experience.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
