Adjusting Your Air Flow

Air Flow Meter #

  1. Disconnect the blue hose below the check valve. See image below.
  2. Connect blue hose to the connection of the flow meter.
  3. Adjust the isolation ball valve or adjust RPM if VFD or variable speed pump is used to increase/decrease water flow until the correct rate of air suction is achieved on the flow meter.:
    • CCW100 Dual: 10 – 12 LPM
    • CCW300A: 12 – 14 LPM
    • CCW300: 23 – 28 LPM
    • CCW500: 40 – 55 LPM
  4. When adjusted to the correct flow, disconnect blue hose and reattach to the check valve. Flow meter should never be permanently installed. Store flow meter within Clear Comfort enclosure.

Why Adjusting Your Airflow Matters #

Adjusting airflow during setup helps your Clear Comfort AOP system perform at its best. Setting the recommended liters per minute (LPM) using the included Air Flow Meter ensures your AOP system is optimized for your specific pool or spa environment.

To fine-tune your air flow, start with the flow meter dial fully open, then gradually adjust the red-handled valve until the ball reaches the target flow range. If the ball in the flow meter doesn’t rise during adjustment, check for any airflow restrictions between the injector and the flow meter. A clear path allows for accurate readings and reliable AOP performance.
