1. Cartridge Exchange(s) #
Frequency: Annually | Takes 15 Minutes
- Remove and replace Cartridge(s)
- Record install date on Cartridge label
- Replace included Air Check Valves (required for warranty)
- Confirm Air Check Valve arrow points toward plumbing
- Use included packaging & label to return old Cartridge for recycling
2. Check Valves, Diffusers & Air Tubing #
Frequency: Monthly | Takes 5 Minutes
- Inspect Diffusers (rod or disc) for fouling or backpressure
- Inspect Air Tubing and Fittings for:
- Kinks, cracks or leaks
- Air or water leaks
- Secure connections
- Tighten or replace any worn or loose connections
Note: Surge pit installations require a check valve to prevent backflow into the AOP system.
3. Air Flow Setting #
Frequency: Monthly | Takes 5 Minutes
- Confirm Air Flow Meter is clean & unobstructed
- Verify LPM matches model specifications:
- CCW300A: 12–14 LPM
- CCW300: 23–28 LPM
- CCW500: 40–55 LPM
- Adjust as needed to maintain proper gas-to-water ratio
4. LED Indicator Lights #
Frequency: Weekly | Takes 1 Minute
- Confirm all LEDs illuminate during startup & operation
CCW300A*, CCW300 & CCW500 Lights:
- Red LED: System ON (System Power Switch)
- Blue LED: Cartridge(s) functioning (Cartridge A LED and Cartridge B LED)
- Note: CCW300A has one Blue LED light.
5. Flow Switch Inspection #
Frequency: Quarterly | Takes 5 Minutes
(If Applicable) For Diffuser Rod Installation Kits:
- Verify system activates & deactivates with pump
- Inspect paddle for free movement
- Check for debris or calcium buildup
- Replace switch if operation is inconsistent
6. Air Compressor Inspection #
Frequency: Quarterly | Takes 5 Minutes
- Inspect & clean Air Compressor intake filter monthly or as needed
- Clean intake and exhaust grilles as needed; remove pleated filters (if present) to improve airflow
- Install service kit every 18 months
- Replace Compressor after three service kits (~4.5 years)
- Record service & replacement dates
7. Diffuser Maintenance #
Frequency: Annually | Takes 10 Minutes
- Remove and inspect diffusers for fouling, scaling or buildup
- Clean with muriatic acid solution (if needed) or replace if airflow is restricted
- Confirm proper airflow & bubble distribution
8. Annual Maintenance Record #
Frequency: After Service | Takes 5 Minutes
- Record dates and notes for all completed maintenance
- Maintain access to system manuals & service guides
