Why Adjusting Your Airflow Matters #
Adjusting airflow during setup helps your Clear Comfort AOP system perform at its best. Setting the recommended liters per minute (LPM) using the included Valved Air Flow Meter and Manifold ensures your AOP system is optimized for your specific pool or spa environment.
Adjust the Manifold (not the Flowmeter’s black knob) until the Flowmeter meets the recommended air flow rate:
- CCW100: 5-7 LPM
- CCW50: 3-5 LPM
To fine-tune your air flow, start with the Air Flow Meter dial fully open, then gradually adjust the Manifold’s red-handled valve until the ball reaches the target flow range. If the ball in the Air Flow Meter doesn’t rise during adjustment, check for any airflow restrictions between the injector and the flow meter. A clear path allows for accurate readings. For best results, confirm your circulation pump is running at the recommended 2,200 to 2,400 RPMs.
Note: If needed, use the Air Flow Meter’s black knob to steady its ball, not to adjust airflow.
