The Clear Comfort system, what PoolPro calls “a true alternative to chlorine,” provides both primary and residual pool water sanitation without the need for chlorine.

Cryptosporidium outbreak settlement of $5 million approved

The New York State Court of Claims has granted preliminary approval of a proposed $5 million settlement of a class action lawsuit filed over a Cryptosporidium outbreak in a state water park. Until now, no technology has presented the ideal solution. Ozone and UV systems are expensive and still require high levels of chlorine for residual kill, while salt systems cause corrosion and don’t kill crypto.
