Clear Comfort is Honoring Another Aquatic Facility That Helps Its Community With Aquatic Programs

Boulder, Colorado – Clear Comfort announced a call for nominations for organizations or facilities that use pools or spas as tools to help, heal or teach members in its community. The Clear Comfort Cares Program will donate equipment to offer cleaner, healthier and more enjoyable swimming environments to those in need. To nominate a facility, please visit clearcomfort.com/cares-program.

The Last Recipient

In December 2020, the Clear Comfort Cares Program honored Ability360, a non-profit corporation that offers adaptive aquatic programs to enhance the quality of life of individuals with disabilities. Clear Comfort’s Advanced Oxidation (AOP) donation will enable Ability360 to deliver the best, healthiest and freshest swimming environment for people with disabilities to use to exercise, relax and enjoy.

“We are proud and honored to have been presented with the Clear Comfort Cares Program donation,” said Gus LaZear, Vice President and General Manager at Ability360. “This donation will have a significant impact on our ability to help individuals with disabilities improve the emotional, cognitive, physical and social aspects of their lives through our Recreational Therapy services.”

Ability360 was nominated for the Clear Comfort Cares Program by Aquatic Environmental Systems, a leading resource for swimming pool and water treatment professionals in the Southwest. In addition, AES is donating its services to install the Clear Comfort AOP system.

The Next Donation

As aquatic facilities get ready for the spring and summer seasons, another selected non-profit, governmental facility or organization that provides aquatic programs to those in need will receive a Clear Comfort AOP system donation.

The next Clear Comfort Cares Program nominations will be accepted until February 28, 2021, and the winning recipient will be notified by March 2, 2021. Anyone can nominate an aquatic facility by filling out the form on clearcomfort.com/cares-program.

“Communities rely on aquatics operators to help provide healthy, safe spaces to play, exercise and enjoyment when they need it most,” said Steve Berens, CEO of Clear Comfort. “We are proud that the Clear Comfort Cares Program is continuing to help aquatics facilities offer its communities with healthier, fresher-feeling and more enjoyable water treatment.”

The nominated aquatics facility or organization’s aquatic programs must be specifically designed to use water as a tool for physical health, safety, rehabilitating or healing its community members. The Clear Comfort AOP system donation is meant to enhance the quality of the water in which these special aquatics programs will be provided.

With Clear Comfort’s award-winning AOP, the winning aquatic facility or organization can provide swimmers and staff with the best, freshest and healthiest water and air quality with up to 90 percent reduction of harmful disinfection by-products. In addition, Clear Comfort’s AOP is third-party proven to safely reduce toxic chemical use and eliminate dangerous, chlorine-resistant microorganisms such as Cryptosporidium.

The Clear Comfort Cares Program donation will include everything needed for a simple and complete AOP system installation. Clear Comfort will work with local service providers to help minimize installation costs. Clear Comfort’s network of top-notch service companies will have the opportunity to nominate their customers’ facility as long as they contribute the installation services as part of their nomination.
